Made and Formed
Lucille Nolan & Richard Buck
‘Made and Formed’ is a collaboration of two artists’ interpretation of the natural and created landscape; the stillness of light and movement of space and time. The exhibition showcases a variety of different images that combined reveal the complex layers of energy and matter with which we co-exist.
Nolan’s 2D photographic dioramas focus on the built environment. Man-made landscapes are recomposed and reconfigured through layering and collage revealing the anonymous interchangeability of the modernist aesthetic.
Buck’s work predominantly focuses on flowing landscapes and he has created a series of black and white pen drawings that recreate visual elements of the landscape.
