All Under Heaven
All Under Heaven utilises household materials – plywood, acrylic, house paint, jack chain and fluorescent light – in a reimagining of landscape and place. The work examines the diasporic, the reconstruction of heritage and the notion of home and self, being ‘neither here nor there’, .
Aileen Lord is a Melbourne based creative whose art practice is largely concerned with the constitution of narratives, and the codes and conditions with which we (re-)construct the world around us.
