In the fantasy novel ‘eric (1990)’ written by terry pratchett, the character Ponce Da Quirm spent the entirety of his life in search of the fountain of youth. Ponce’s fate was sealed as he drank directly from the fountain, unsuspecting that the correct instructions are to boil the water first. Todays exploration in search of the the fountain of youth reveals a world too acute for mythology, yet still clotted with fantasy and fallacy. Discovered in derivative sciences and non-specific fact, packaged inside brown bottles with artificial directions, prescribed by a quack wearing a lab coat. Correlations can be drawn with the story of Ponce Da Quirm.
