Spray and Pray
Creating environments contrived to protect ourselves is one of the most banal ways in which to claim space, the tools used are common place. With our bodies and structures we lay claim to the space around us and with chemical cleaning products lay that claim down to the microscopic level.
Once formed we invest entirely in the maintenance or expansion of these artificial environments slotting easily into their prescribed uses. On the smallest scale these activities are domestic and based around the halting of decay while speaking to a greater tendency to expunge that which undermines what is comfortable.
