Héctor Jiménez Castillo is an artist living and working in Guadalaja, Mexico. His practice is influenced by intuition, chance and deploying his own biography. His work frequently portrays vulnerability and examines identity and intimacy. Castillo investigates the production of images inspired by the unconscious and explores them in different media, mainly choreography, writing, drawing and sculpture. His process can be described as a methodology that organises and reveals his own reality and that of others while playing with random notions. Castillo is co-founder and active member of Arrogante Albino, a scenic laboratory for curious artists, and he has collaborated with Compañía Opcional (Mexico), Teatro Ojo (Mexico), Heesso Agnes Kim (Korea) and Claudia Cisneros (Mexico).

Héctor Jiménez Castillo (Veracruz, VER. MX, 1992) lives and works in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX. Through her work she investigates the production of images that appeal to the unconscious, exploring different media, mainly: drawing, choreography, writing, costume design and sculpture. He is interested in artistic practice as a tool to get to know places, people and generate extra-everyday experiences. With a particular interest in the performing arts he works and collaborates on dance, theater and film projects. He is co-founder and active member of the artist laboratory Arrogante albino , Arrogante's work could be considered a media collage that has the body as its research center. He has collaborated with Alejandro Mendicuti (ES), Compañía Opcional (MX-ES) , Lara Ortíz (ES) , Tamara Cubas (UY), Teatro Ojo (MX), Heesoo Agnes Kim (KR)
