to think so as to change and so
to grow and accept, gift and
exchange - one for the other and
the other to befriend then revive
or to share, not to take but to
feed, digest, break apart and put
together - new or old or different
or the same but not the same for
nothing is the same yet
everything is alike or it is
temporary maybe permanent but
to be loved and cared and
nurtured and hugged so tightly

then let go, released, re-made
and re-entered; for everything is
a gift and we lay, dream, fly,
skip, soar, jump into the past and
the present and the future and
fifty times backwards then a
hundred times forward; never
new, never old, just us together
forever and again until the next,
you open your eyes and here we
are again, for better or for worse,
‘til death do us part but we
revive and grow again and again
and again and again and again
and again and again and again
