The Studio Residency Program specifically focuses on socially engaged, collaborative, and inclusive practices. This program aimed to address contemporary social issues through the lens of arts and culture.

Seventh currently has two studio spaces. Sourced from a national open call, Seventh supports up to 12 fully subsidised studio residencies of different lengths throughout the year. This initiative is specifically aimed at supporting socially engaged, collaborative and inclusive practices, and projects that address contemporary social issues through the lens of arts and culture. Residencies are granted to artists, writers, curators, collectives and creative and community groups, and SEVENTH works closely with program participants to realise a variety of outcomes such as workshops, lectures, studio exhibitions, research projects and other public programs and events.
